Veena Malik was anticipated to meet her prince charming on “Veena Ka Swayamvar”, unfortunately the episode was closed following the NDTV Imagine made a decision to shut down its operations. Veena states she is not disappointed because she realizes that her wedding program are doomed.
“You know, my wedding dates have been getting ready ever since I was 14. My dad desired me to get married since then. My parents attempted to get me settled down 4 times and every time I rejected,” Veena explained to media.
She included, “But while ‘Swayamvar…’ took place, my abu and my buddies backed me a lot. When I was all set for it (marriage), it didn’t take place. I believe my marriage plans are jinxed. It has been cancelled many a times.”
This was going to be her second Indian show after the "Big Boss". She was not disturbed while she knew the show has been stopped.
“I was not surprised when I heard that the channel had shut down, because it was not new to me. Of course, money is an important part. I lost my money, but when my manager called me and told me about it, my only reaction was, ‘Ok’. I believe it happens in our lives. I am a very positive person. (May be Allah ne kuch behtar rakha hai mere liye),” said Veena who is said to be dating director Hemant Madhukar. She is working in his film “Mumbai 125 kms”.
