Singer Nicki Minaj says she wanted to “kill” her father when she was growing up.
The 29-year-old’s father Omar was a drug addict and he once tried to burn their house in New York.
“I wanted to kill him. I used to wish he was dead. We were afraid for my mother’s life, because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her,” contactmusic.com quoted the 29-year-old as saying.
