Surjeet accepted: "I was a spy"

IBN7 News: Just after going to home and passing over 30 yrs in prisons, Surjeet Singh accepted that he had been a Indian secret agent directed to Pakistan.

“I was a RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent. No one worried for me once I caught. Dona’t inquire me very much…..else the BSF  is going to upset,” he informed press just after his return here.

In just secs of his stating this declaration, BSF officers seated behind him brought him away to a room.

Ironically, for the duration of 3 decades in Pakistani prisons, Surjeet fought for the case that he was a secret agent. He had been given to death before but which was converted to life jail time.

“I will never ever come back to Pakistan once again,” Surjeet, shared with journalists in Punjabi with his head and finger showing a strong “no” body language.

“I had been caught earlier for spying charges. If I come back once again, the security agencies may believe that I have arrive for spying again,” he mentioned.

Surjeet claimed captive on each ends of the border should be freed by the gov of the boyh country.

“I was handled nicely by jail authorities and I am thankful to them,” he reported
