The Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] State panel on Weekend eliminated ex - party Ernakulam district secretary Gopi Kottamurikkal from the primary membership of the party.
The judgement comes after the knowing that he is accused of sexual misbehave in the district panel office of the CPI(M) as well as his public assertions on the engagement of his detractors in the district unit of the party in making proof in opposition to him.
The judgement to take action in opposition to him emerged after the State committee, that had been specifically organised for the purpose, listened to the investigations of the inquiry panel directed by CPI(M) secretariat member and LDF convener Vaikom Viswan. Based on sources in the party, Mr. Kottamurikkal might not have confronted this kind of serious punishment had he refrained from going public with his complaint about his party colleagues’ engagement in making video clip in opposition to him.
