Veerbharda Singh resigns after BJP's demand

Veerbharda Singh finally resigned due to charges by the Shimla court. He declined all the charges and rejected  the court decision.

He added that during the fifty years of his political career he have not been accused any type of corrupt behaviour.

 "The evidence is concocted. The CD has not been authenticated. They have not compared my voice," he said.

Questioned on Monday if he would resign, he said, "I don't care for my office at all. I don't want to embarrass my party and the Prime Minister. As and when the occasion arises, certainly I will take appropriate action".
