Home minister P. Chidambaram have been appointed as telecom EGOM head by UPA. BJP Saturday labeled this as a “cruel joke” and demanded to make him a co-offender in the 2G spectrum allotment scam.
BJP spokespeson Ravi Shankar Prasad explained to journalists here that final decision on 2G spectrum allotment had been taken by both ( Chidambaram and former telecom minister A. Raja ) therefore there have been demands that he must be inquired by the CBI.
