Google has refused remarks by Microsof company regarding the presence of an Google android spam botnet, however protection companies are not so convinced.
Terry Zink, security Engg for Microsoft, wrote on his blog before this week concerning a probable risk, citing Android-specific e-mail addresses and a “Sent from Yahoo! Mail on Android” note at the bottom part of the message.
Search gaint explained its examination of the problem displays that Android has not been affected and that spammers working from Personal computers are merely formatting their e-mail to give them look like they come from Google android smartphones, a strategy created to escape them from spam filter systems. Google mentioned presently there was no proof of an Google android botnet.
