One of Jodie Marsh’s new range of bodybuilding products contains a performance-boosting substance that has been banned for pro athletes.
The former glamour model, who has stunned the world with her new muscly physique, has released a range of JST Jodie muscle-building protein shakes on the back of her new career.
But one of her supplements, Rage212, contains a banned substance called 1,3-dimethylamylamine— and the high caffeine count alone could make an athlete fail a doping test.
Jodie, who has competed with the Natural Physique Association, the 33-year-old isn’t allowed to take her own product.
“It seems bizarre that Jodie would endorse a product she can’t and hasn’t taken herself,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
The product, which contains 24mg of the banned substance and 150mg of caffeine per serving, comes with the warning: “Always use extreme caution and never exceed the suggested dose.”
“Jodie hasn’t taken the product herself as it is against the rules for the competitions in which she competes,” her manager added.
